Since the creation of the Earth Moving Machines and excavators for the mining industry the P&H Mining Equipment Company began developing Electric Mining Shovels that load into trucks and in pit crushing conveyor systems, P&H Drilling Rigs to be applied to boring grids of tubular explosives for mining, P&H Walking Draglines and P&H In Pit Conveyor Systems. Every one of these pieces of machinery utilizes the P&H Standard Gearbox. P&H Gearboxes were designed to operate in the high temperature, high exposure settings of active mining industries. From the constant barrage of material through crushing conveyors or the shocks caused by explosives, the P&H Gearboxes are designed to not only survive under those circumstances but continue to operate at a high speed and efficient rate with little maintenance over the lifespan of the equipment compared to rival brands.
